Dr. Helen Tinsley - YouTube Channel

On my YouTube channel, "Dr Helen Tinsley"  I share stories: educational stories, family stories and children's stories from personal experiences and books. All children need to see themselves and their families in the stories they hear or read. Story is the basis of our existence, who we are, what we think we are, what our family and friends say we are, what other people think we are, and all of this has a place of importance as we grow and develop. Children need to hear stories that speak to their reality, because there is power in story. Stories help children to make sense of their experiences, through their worlds and also by making connections to other stories. Stories help us make sense of the world and they bring validity, stability, calm and peace to a chaotic world.
